It is a concentrated animal feeding operation, it is different because CAFO's is a faster way to raise food and traditional farming is smaller and slower

Hens and pigs are raised in Farmville, there are 80,000 hens and up to 8,500 pigs

Some issues are that diseases can be everywhere, For the proponents they might say that they can make more food to feed more people, opponents will say that it isn't natural to feed animals the way they are feeding them

There is a high risk of having asthma, headaches, nausea and diarrhea

I think that the air quality and the contamination of the water is the sources of their illnesses
3. Should you consider their experiences with the CAFO for your vote?
I would because now I know the health problems and how it is affecting the people that live their
4. Using the facts you have learned from your independent research and the concerns you have heard from the residents, what is your current position concerning the proposed CAFO expansion?
The current position is to cancel the program because it is really affecting the people and causing them health problems

the amount that was considered safe was 133 E. coli colonies/100 ml, there can't be any E. coli in drinking water

The levels in her samples were 1,000,000 E. coli in a half of a cup
4. What is the proposed plan the farmers are considering to help their cause against the CAFO expansion?
they are planning to collects water from each of their farms
